Made in the Pilbara
Solve’s aim is to provide effective ‘project life-cycle’ management solutions to clients through relationship direction and business understanding. We aspire to be the central ‘hub’ and leader in the provision of engineering and associated managed services in Tom Price.
To achieve this, we have developed a strategic plan to grow our list of exceptional relationships, partnerships and agreements over the next 5 year. For years, Solve has been the unofficial preferred contractor and supplier for a number of clients small and large with repeat clientele, a steady stream of projects and a glowing industry reputation.
Local Contractor Agreement
Solve is a registered Tom Price business and thus we live and work in the Tom Price community and wholeheartedly support ‘local business’ engagement. We endeavour where practicable to engage with compatible local contractor and suppliers of goods and services. This is demonstrated by the local supplier/vendors that we have registered including indigenous and non-indigenous businesses; such as Gumala and Ashburton Aboriginal Corporation, as well as other significant Indigenous owned and operated businesses in the Pilbara, including; Aboriginal Workforce Development Centre, Christine Ross Consultancy, Branch Out Consultancy, The Cultural Connection, Waangara Marra Consulting and the Matera Foundation.
Solve also firmly supports the fledgeling Tom Price Chamber of Commerce and the endeavours to develop their promotion of local businesses and have committed our support by nominating (and accepted) our residential manager Mr Stephen Tormey as a committee member 2017 / 2018.
Aboriginal Contractor Agreement
Diversity is a key differentiator for us at Solve: one of our main focuses is to cultivate and assist in improving ours and our client’s Indigenous employment strategies and workforce retention. As such Solve currently has access to many experienced Indigenous job seekers as well as Indigenous consultants and elders who work as Advisors within our business.Furthermore, Solve partners with our clients to tailor specific indigenous recruitment strategies and also have the capability to provide “work ready” and continued mentoring and support programmes for Indigenous candidates when required.
